Inspiring workshop with NPLW club Southern United

My Inspiration Never Dies is very proud to partner with Southern United Football Club to provide support in physical wellbeing and mindfulness across the NPLW and VPL season in 2025.

Southern United is a female only football (soccer) club based in the south-east corridor of metropolitan Melbourne and provides excellent pathways for junior, youth and senior players from under-10 including elite development through the Football Victoria National Womens Premier League (NPLW) and broader participation in community leagues too.

My Inspiration Never Dies supported the club in 2024 with game-day sports training to the senior teams and have now extended this support to the entire club offering professional allied health services in Exercise Physiology and Health Science to all members including a weekly triage session, pre-season 3D movement and health assessments, workshops in physical and mental wellbeing and extended support to parents, committee members and the coaching team too.

“After nearly three-decades in coaching football development, the critical need for professional support to females today is essential, especially when it comes to education and resources in injury prevention says My Inspiration Never Dies Co-founder Graham Dudley.

The inaugural pre-season workshops were held at the training home of Melbourne City at Casey Fields in Cranbourne, Victoria with a focus on educating the players from under 13 to under 17 in the importance of mindset and accountability for their body, mind and performance.

The younger players are extremely enthusiastic to learn and play and in today’s society of social media and access to information, are highly curious about being the best versions of themselves so providing them facts and resources to help them develop in their own, unique way and at their own pace is part of the My Inspiration Never Dies structure. Remember that our co-founder Deanna Niceski is very empathetic to these athletes as an ex-Melbourne Victory W-League (now A-League Women) player (see story here).

“Southern United are taking a proactive approach to player development now and splitting the time into education, skill development, confidence building and the football curriculum. This is by far a missing link in the longevity of players in the game and a chance to create a generation of smart, fit and positive players.” says Southern United Football Club Technical Director Grant Spence.

The team at My Inspiration Never Dies will be supporting the club on and off the field throughout the season and if this a service your club, of any sporting code, is interested in, contact us today.
