Where does an Exercise Physiologist fit?

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a university- qualified allied health professional that specialises in providing individualised, effective movement interventions.

We’ve heard it before; exercise is medicine and through the influence of movement a MIND Exercise Physiologist provides people with the tools for success and empowerment. And, in a world where comfort is safe, we help people push the boundaries, overcome, and manage trauma, pain, injury, self-doubt and chronic disease.

REMEDIAL MASSAGE

Massage with a focus.

You’re in safe hands with our remedial massage team.

Our therapist use different massage techniques to help treat chronic pain or injuries that require specialist focus. Using a combination of hands-on techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, stretching, dry needling and cupping, they stimulate and create a balance within your body. In doing so, they ease and stabilise muscles decreasing soreness and restriction, reducing general aches and pains, and helping you feel amazing. 

GROUP TRAINING

Much more to motivate you.

We want to introduce you to a new concept in group training. We are blazing a new trail by offering what we call ”Wellness ExSocio Sessions”. These sessions have been designed to incorporate a sociology aspect to movement training. Grab a drink from our bar after a solid workout and sit back with friends and other members of the group to discuss social matters, experiences and just have a laugh.

SCREENING AND ASSESSING

Objective, validated and explained.

Objective measures are important in knowing where we are in the present moment. These screens and assessments give us the opportunity to understand weaknesses, dysfunction and any outliers you may be experiencing. This gives us a solid foundation to work off creating a unique, individualised program suited to your needs.

CORPORATE WELL-BEING

Bringing MIND | MVMT | CXN to peak condition.

Approaching the corporate athlete through an integrated and holistic view, creating rituals and connections through physical, emotional and mental capacity. Establishing a firm foundation with the understanding that recovery is as important as performance in the board room.
