Where does an Exercise Physiologist fit?

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a university- qualified allied health professional that specialises in providing individualised, effective movement interventions.

We’ve heard it before; exercise is medicine and through the influence of movement a MIND Exercise Physiologist provides people with the tools for success and empowerment. And, in a world where comfort is safe, we help people push the boundaries, overcome, and manage trauma, pain, injury, self-doubt and chronic disease.

MIND Exercise Physiologists look to influence people’s lives by providing a culture where you can explore your bodies amazing capabilities through the power of movement. We want to help you reinvigorate your senses, energise your body, maximise your efficiency and train for everyday living.

We do this by combining different worlds of movement, wellness, technology, and education to provide people with an integrated and unique experience. We explore beyond the boundaries to ensure people are leaving their comfort zones to adapt, change and grow.

MIND Exercise Physiologists are well equipped to handle restoring the body to its original state through movement intervention. They also provide blueprints to ensure prevention strategies are implemented to reduce the risk of further injury.

By understanding the complexities living with a chronic condition has our team uses their knowledge to help reduce risk factors, manage comorbidities, improve limitations in movement and safely improve quality of life to gain independence.

Exercise should be an experience that future proofs your body and establishes connections well beyond an 8-week challenge. Programs designed should help you move with how nature intended and provide you with the education and awareness to self-manage.

A MIND Exercise Physiologist understands the importance of movement integrity and training with an integrated approach to help you create a strong, robust architecture that reduces aches and pains, deconditioning and other risk factors associated with dysfunction and inactivity.

We slow it down, explore deeper, bring back the fun and keep it simple, in a complex way.
