Medicare Standard Consultation – 30 min

Medicare rebates are available for clients suffering from a chronic disease (such as chronic pain, injury, Stroke, Parkinson’s, arthritis, cancer, osteoporosis, mental health).

You are entitled to receive a maximum of 5 consultations under Medicare, per calendar year. Please note there will still be out of pocket cost for these sessions.

For consultations to be covered under the Medicare system, you will need a referral to from your GP, who will be able to determine your eligibility for the program.

What does a consultation appointment include?

• Private and confidential 30-minutes face to face with your consultant
• Designated 15-minutes post appointment time for your clinician to complete notes and your program, liaise with relevant practitioners in your care plan and design your future progression.
