Where does a Sport Scientist fit?

Sport Scientists have conventionally been isolated to enhancing sport performance, however a MIND Sport and Health Scientist applies the knowledge of sport performance and general human health and well-being to provide strategies and interventions to all individuals, regardless of sport participation. Alongside the intervention element, education is provided to help the individual ‘understand the why’.

With the addition of a variety of applied technologies, Sport and Health Scientists use objective data and information, along with evidence-based practices to identify baselines and progression/regression through re-assessment and quality assurance.
