We receive funding from the DVA and make an immediate impact in Dandenong

My Inspiration Never Dies is extremely grateful for the support from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) who support those who serve or have served in defence of our nation, and their families.

The grant of $100,000 has allowed our business to dedicate over 800 hours of Exercise Physiology support to members of the local Dandenong RSL as an extension to workshops and programs we have been providing to them over the last 2-years.

“It has been a privilege and really fun working with the veterans over the last few years and this extra funding allows us to really expand the time we have with them and explore new ways to help longevity and enjoyment.” says My Inspiration Never Dies Co-founder and Lead Exercise Physiologist Deanna Niceski.

In addition to direct programs for the members that will include dedicated space, equipment and trained professionals, the health and wellbeing support is extended to all of the 50+ staff, the volunteers and the board members and committee of the RSL too in a truly holistic model of positive habitual change in the complete environment.

“The programs provided by Deanna and the My Inspiration Never Dies team have been received really well by our members and the social approach of education around lunches brings a lot of smiles and laughter too. The impact has been immediate and this funding project is so exciting.” says Greg Betros, General Manager of the Dandenong Cranbourne RSL.

The Hon Matt Keigh MP formally approved the grant under the Veteran Wellbeing Grants Program in October and we begin delivering programs and support from February this year with a long-term objective to resource the members and staff with information and the tools they all need for a really proactive and enjoyable, agile life.
